These terms apply to the Amber — 8D Soundbath iOS app and the web app at app.amber8d.com (together, "Amber"). By using Amber you agree to them. If you download Amber from the App Store, Apple's standard licence terms also apply.
Amber generates relaxing soundscapes, guided breathwork and meditations. It is a wellness and relaxation tool, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. It is no substitute for professional medical advice — if you have a health concern, including a hearing, heart or seizure-related condition, speak to a doctor before using audio designed for deep relaxation. Never use Amber while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention.
Sound baths are best enjoyed at a gentle volume. Prolonged listening at high volume can damage hearing — please be kind to your ears.
An account is optional. If you sign in with Apple or Google you're responsible for keeping that sign-in secure. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Amber is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service, and don't attempt to extract or redistribute its audio, voices, or other content.
Amber, its sound engine, generated audio, voice recordings, artwork and branding are owned by us or our licensors. Using the app doesn't transfer any of these rights to you.
Amber is currently free. If paid features are introduced in the future, their price and terms will be shown clearly before you buy, and purchases made through the App Store will be handled by Apple under its payment terms.
We work hard to keep Amber available and improving, but it's provided "as is" — we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change over time. To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability in connection with Amber is limited to the amount you paid for it (currently nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can stop using Amber at any time. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms or harms the service or other users.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales — though if you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer rights your local law gives you.
